Conference November 20, 2009 - Request for accreditation all'UCPI

Here is the text of the letter sent to the Union Rooms Penalties for the accreditation of the event on 20 November this year on medical liability:

Subject: Request for accreditation of the event November 20, 2009 - Criminal Chamber of Bolzano.

hereby apply for approval to have the event scheduled for November 20 in the near Bolzano co-hosted with the Criminal Chamber of Ferrara.

The title of the event, as well as the program and speakers, are detailed in the attached letter dd. 12.10.2009, signed by the President of the Chamber of Ferrara (and moderator) adv. Franco Romani, whose reference for further details.

This is a true conference on medical responsibility, mainly in the field of criminal law, but with thoughts (if necessary) also significant effects on civil, as well as more technical aspects and medico-legal (thanks to the participation of Director of the Institute of Forensic Medicine Prof. Ferrara. Francesco Maria avatars).

There is also participating as a speaker the President of the Criminal Chamber of the Court Dr. Ferrara. Francesco Maria Caruso, as well as - among others - prof. Guido Casaroli, professor of criminal law and criminal law of the economy at the University of Ferrara.

So I think the event of great scientific interest and professional and above all to participate "interdisciplinary" to colleagues, Professors, Doctors and Judges.

For practical information, the conference
• is planned for the day of 20 November, from 14.30 to 19.30 (for the total duration of five hours); •
be held, unless counter-at the Auditorium Institute Tecnico Industriale “G. Galilei” di Bolzano (sala con capienza di circa duecento persone);
• il controllo delle presenze verrà effettuato mediante la raccolta di firme, salvo disponibilità del nostro Ordine per l’accreditamento elettronico (per chi in possesso di nuova tessera);
• è prevista la pre-iscrizione presso la nostra Segreteria.

Ebbene, premesso tutto quanto sopra, ritengo che l’evento del 20 novembre prossimo sia senz’altro meritevole di un ampio accreditamento, sia per la durata (di cinque ore), sia per il numero di relatori (ben otto), sia per l’alta qualificazione ed interdisciplinarietà degli stessi (Foro, Accademia, Istituto di medicina legale).


Suggerisco quindi l’accreditamento di sei (6) punti o – quanto meno, basandosi sul rigido criterio orario – di cinque (5) punti.
